Consumer and Citizen Action Groups

Residential Utility Consumers Organization (RUCO) -

RUCO was established by Arizona State legislation and its Board is comprised of five members appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the Senate. RUCO represents utility ratepayers throughout Arizona in matters relating to rate making and rate design, as well as other matters involving public service corporations and is a member advocate office of the National Association of State Utility Consumer Advocates (NASUCA - http://www.nasuca.org/).

Arizona Consumers Council (ACC) -

ACC is a volunteer non-profit statewide consumer advocacy group that sponsors initiative measures, conducts surveys, holds workshops, lobbies before the legislature, and publishes a monthly newsletter and a consumer assistance directory.
